Admire the social achievements of Jean-Baptiste André Godin, founder of the famous stove factory, who in the 19th century devised an ideal social framework for his employees. Labour Day celebrations at the Familistère – 1st May
Labour Day was first celebrated in France in 1867 at the Godin Familistère. Since then, popular celebrations always take place on May 1st with fun fair, street art, circus, etc. An entertaining event to be enjoyed by the whole family!

Guided tours at 10.30 am, 2.30 and 4.30 pm
